Now that you mention it, perhaps this trend of releasing buggy ass games is a deliberate attempt to curb piracy. It's the kind of idea that is so stupid it might actually work... not.
Haha. Thats exactly whats happening. You're a fan of FF and you're getting screwed.
These are all interesting choices, but i'm still unlikely to leave my PS3 for them.
Their worst company in America "Award" was more about how they treated customers, with the things like terrible customer support, locked content and DLC and the like.
This award is more about treatment of employees, specifically the LGBT community.
I'll put it this way. McDonalds makes way more money than Savoy Grill. But where would you rather eat?
I have a suspicion that they will remain neck and neck. In fact I hope that is the case. these two console staying on even footing is better for the consumer in the long run. I just wish the Wii U would get some love.
For me its more a case of "forget PS4 for a year".
In South African terms, the PS4 is a months salary, without games, for a lot of people. Need to wait for that price drop.
Though PS Plus is pretty sweet.
Rule of thumb for me with console launches: wait one year from launch before buying. Consoles are usually a bit cheaper by then and there's a wider variety of games to choose from.
Condemned. Now there's a game that could use a third outing. Xbox One exclusive Condemned 3 would do nicely.
Its even more amazing when you realise that Bischoff has been working on this project solo for the last few years. As a solo effort, worked on part time, the results are astounding.
This isn't a list of the best PS3 games. It's a list of good games you probably missed, because you were playing Last of Us, God of War, Uncharted etc.
Games that slipped under your radar.
That is a very good point. If both consoles were released today, in their current states, I would be all over that PS3.
But it doesnt change the fact that, overall, I believe the Xbox 360 had a greater impact on gaming as a whole.
I have to say that that documentary is pretty brilliant. I know it basically about Street Fighter, but its also a really great window into how video games can be a part of a persons life. Love it.
If i liked car games, this might be useful :P
Well if anyone can pull this off , it probably Valve. But I have my doubts.
They're around, its just that their profile had diminished. It not like they're space combat simulators. You dont see those everyday.
Well that's a bullet dodged. Good so easily have ended up as generic action game 409.
The video game applications for this scare me. Anyone see that bad movie with Gerard Butler and the guy from Dexter. That is all I see happening with this tech.
This from the people that brought us Snooki and the Situation
But the key difference here, between your Battlefield 4 example and these alphas, is the buyers know what they are getting into. There was no false expectations. It's a subtle distinction, but it makes a huge difference in the mind of the consumer.
